It's actually the Gold Medal winning Long Jumper. His second goal was a header from inside the six yard box when his leap had started outside of the area.

Going by the official site, he only scored one and is in trial not loan and it was the reserves.

Says on sligos twitter. Greg rutherford scored 1 goal and it was their first team friendly. Its pre season in ireland. My cousin lives in ireland and he has text me asking who this kid is. He was apparently mom last night. Strange nothing on our official website

The kid rutherford is mentioned on the sligo rovers site. They have put match report on today. Im not computer literate so cannot copy report onto the bunker. Seems he did well, didnt know he was 6ft 4 big lad. And they have hartlepool in league 1, so that might be a dood sign.

I'd imagine he's been told that he's getting released in the summer and sees this as an opportunity to get himself a deal somewhere else, it would hardly be a surprise as he hasn't featured at all. Good luck to him.
