With York's reputation for trouble does anybody think there will be any trouble on Saturday? Is it a friendly or fiery rivalry?

The original Green Street script was actually based around York City but the film was banned in several countries due to it's shocking violence. Especially the bit were Scsrborough fans tried to 'take' Betty's Tearoom.

I nearly got my eye put put by a scone during the Battle of Betty's. Luckily it had clotted cream on so it just made me blink a lot. I went mad and hit one of their top boys with a doylie. Thought he was going to bleed to death but it turned out to be jam.

Had a lucky escape the other year. Their top boy turned up dressed as a bishop. Didn't fool me. Pushed him into his flock and ran like fuck.

After game back in August I was going for a pint in 'Ye Olde Star Inn' and just outside the door I saw what I thought was a statue. On closer inspection it moved- it was a person. A clear planned ambush so we gave the place a wide berth.

Me and and a few mates met up with their top boys for an arranged street fight. Ended up a shambles.

Can we sort a late gathering of the anti-chew penguins?

I think York will be too much for the FDE to handle.

That Yorvik Reds website has to be a piss take. The crimes they are boasting about include setting off a flare at Benfield, throwing bog rolls at a man in a furry suit and erm, being a bit drunk with more flares. Maybe a food fight in Betty's wasn't too far fetched...

I think that website shows us exactly what we are dealing with here, the lowest of the low, nasty dangerous people. Freddy the Fox and that messy pitch will vouch for that.

I mean I'm all for the legal throwing of toilet role but these gangsters are doing it ILLEGALLY.

They are clearly very bad bastads indeed. I won't sleep tonight after watching that video where they wore masks to intimidate people. I soiled my winceyette onesie when I saw that and I'm safely overseas. Best of luck to all of you who might be confronted by these beasts on Saturday.

...I'll have it for the Mother-in-law, she's wanting to go Saturday as she has a bad case of the Rodney's at the moment, and could do with some extra two-ply.

The only time I can remember them coming to the vic with a bit of an attitude was in the cup 2nd round 1984, brought about 1500 up.
