Commentators were saying the same, that he could
Maybe have let him off cos it was early on. It's a red card whatever time the foul
Happens. There's nothing in the referees book to say let players off in the first 5 minutes.

You can't even begin to imagine how pissed off he was though after working all week on the team shape and game plan for it to be out of the window after 130 seconds so we'll cut him some slack.

Also apparently Compton was on the end of something similar at Mansfield in the first minute....... Yellow Card.

Yes it must be a frustrating time for him at the moment. Its a price you pay for having young, naive players in your squad I suppose. Its a case of just keep working at it at the moment and hopefully our luck will turn sooner rather than later...

So if you can't send a player off early in the game, at what point can you.....5 minutes? Then you'd have open season on fouls for the first five minutes....not to mention the player sent off after six minutes complaining a similar offence by another player after three minutes was unpunished.
Sorry, rules is rules.
