I hope I'm wrong, but I have a horrible feeling this year's drowning line will be around the 50 points mark

I also had a couple of horrible visions/ moments looking at a certain word, in both conscious and unconscious states... I've tried to dismiss it but now I've said what the vision is.... hopefully it will now go away

the word is the same as a type of pear............. but it can fuck right off

there's more deserving candidates anyway such as Portsmouth, but we know the league and the refs are gonna help them not nice people big style on the run in so they will be safe..... I'm gonna pick the current bottom 2.

But sadly I think we might find it hard between now and the end of the season :-(

I don't think we will either... where did I say that we would?

Read the words on the screen

I said it will be a high points total, and that it's very probable we wouldn't be far above it

I know fella, just a bit on tenterhooks myself hence the reaction but after a few glasses of wine, then looking objectively, we've got a good spine of a promising side, we've played teams off the park this year and I've got my full faith in CC. The lads are trying their hearts out, today circumstances conspired. If there were whispers of a disjointed dressing room coming out I'd be worried, but there ain't so I'm not. We'll get it right but no major expectations for the rest of the season. I reckon we'll end up with 55-60 points this year.

I agree about the team's promise... we just have to hope this run we are on with one win in however many doesn't knock the players' belief

CC has some work to do to get them in the right frame of mind for next Saturday

I've just looked and York have only lost once in the last fourteen league games!! WTF???

The opponents I'd like us to be facing at good times aren't on our fixture list at all at present.... but Pools have got to start throwing the form book out of the window now

Yes we have a good spine and yes we have played teams off the park but look what it's got us? 1 win in 12 is it?

Individually we appear to have a great team. It's not working out like that though.

We're a young side, it's not going well at the minute, we lack a bit in certain areas but I'm confident we've got a boss who wants us to go in the right direction and is working well within the seemingly paltry budget. He's made a few strange decisions but he's as inexperienced as the team but I like him and think he's good for the club.

The only concern I have at the minute is Flinders who is either a) going through a bad run of form or b) is unsettled and wants a move. His recent form is a worry.

York is the kind of game I can see us winning.

We'll end up with between 55-60 points never threatening the play offs or being in serious trouble. The mid table season most of us would have taken at the start.

I make it 3 wins from our last 12 league games. Even if you include the cup games it isnt one win in 12 , but hey ho, why get in the way of a good whinge.

Even if we only carried on at the same points per game ratio weve managed over those 12 games we would still finish on 52 points.

It was a question Chip and I never mentioned league games did I but hey go don't let that get in the way of a picking holes in a question.

It's official then, hey go has replaced hey ho as the latest in management psychobabble/speak.

Sorry Tree couldn't resist.

The worry in having a young team is how it can spiral out of control if they begin to feel the pressure, a couple of wins in the next few weeks and we will be fine, but if we are struggling towards the last quarter if the season then a few experienced heads will be needed
