Richards is injured as well, so either way that's a cracking call.

Plus it wouldn't be that good as Austin is our left back...

Well I could be wrong, so could the official site.

http://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/stats/player-stats/

Because that as of now is showing Austin as having been booked 3 times in the League and twice in the cup(s). Now as that makes 5, I'm presuming todays booking must have been added otherwise he should have served a ban by now and I don't think he has.

How many games do you miss for a tenth yellow?

2......... and I'll believe MJ but the official site once more has Monkhouse on 8 yellows. I hope this isn't going to turn into a Liddlegate part 2

So apart from the fact he's six bookings short of being suspended and his understudy who plays in a different position being injured I think Austin can count himself very lucky to be involved in Wednesday's game.

Obviously very disciplined is Aussie, unlike Mr Monkhouse. Although a lot don't seem to rate Austin, I think he is one of them players we would really miss if he was suspended. No doubt we will find out soon enough.

did anyone notice the free kick awarded against Austin after he had been booked? He actually pulled out of the challenge cos he realises he wasn't gonna get there so he stands his ground in front of their player... who slipped trying to keep the ball in play. The ref gave a free kick!! Austin KNEW he was on a collision course for his second booking so used his common sense... pity the ref never used any!! AAARRGGHH!! Where do they get them from?

The booking wasn't a booking either!!!!
