It happens Mutters, people get old without you noticing. For example; did you know Kim Bassinger was 60?

Question Of Sport became a much poorer place when he left.

Some of his 'Colemanballs' were brilliant

"If that had gone in, it would have been a goal."

"That's the fastest time ever run, but it's not as fast as the world record."

That was said about Juantoreno the Cuban 400M runner and by Ron Pickering.. The only connection to Coleman is that it was called a Colemanism / Colemanballs. It went There goes Juantoreno down the back straight opening his legs and showing his class

87! me neither. Reminds me of been a kid when live footy or any footy on telly was a rare event and when on was eagerly awaited. Coleman was the man who usually fronted these programmes, was it Sportsnight during the week he used to do, unusual theme tune I remember. sctatchinghead

R.I.P David Coleman

did anyone else have the theme tunes LP for all the sports programmes, and the dancing to each was mime-type "action" from the sports concerned when each track was playing.
Sometimes the "fill" bits which weren't on the original tv theme had to be filled in with some really good interpretation.

They should have used that in school drama lessons

I'd love to have seen how the accident report was filled in by the teacher, describing how one pupil broke the other ones leg with a sliding tackle between the chairs

Absolutely correct Mr Fetish. What he said about Alan Wells was 'Alan opened his legs and showed them all what he was made of.'

My mistake.

Another favourite: 'This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing.' clappp
