I bought a Lego set for the bairn for Xmas off the Tesco website a few weeks ago, doing the click and collect thing. When I picked it up their system was down so they had to write all my details down.

Over the last couple of weeks they kept sending me emails saying the item was ready for collection. I ignored them, but then I got an apology one yesterday saying that as they didn't get the item to the store for me to collect, they were refunding the fifty odd quid to my card.

Now I was always brought up to be honest, but it was a wrench to email them back saying that I'd actually picked the item up. Now they're going to charge it back to my card.

Part of me is kicking myself for not keeping quiet about it, but I'm a big believer in karma, so hopefully I'll get some kind of reward to balance it out.

Does anyone fancy giving me fifty quid then?

you actually kicked karma itself in the nads there John. Karma is finally getting your own back on the likes of Tesco who have stripped you of your worldly wealth all of these years!!!
And you declined it!!!

If Tesco are going to sort your re-connected plum out, and give you some grub that doesn`t make you have to open your car windows at 70 mph, then true karma has been reached.

Yours in dhama.

Tesco is the epitome of evil, and any opportunity of 'getting one over' on them has to be taken. No further correspondence will be entered into on this matter!

I agree that Tesco are chunts of the highest order, but I imagined my grandparents and old man looking down with disapproving faces.

It's a good job that never springs to mind whenever I have to 'produce a sample'.

Right, I'm getting the swines back bit by bit.

Yesterday my quid coin fell under the self-service machine, and as the bewer couldn't move the unit, they had to take one out of the proper till.

And this afternoon I took my trolley back to the bay thing to get my pound out of it, and someone had left one with a quid coin in it!

Although thinking about it, it was some other punter who will be a quid down, rather than the behemoth multinational. And when they next move the self-service machine, they'll just put the quid into their immense coffers.

Fuck it, maybe I should just ram-raid them.

Ah, yes but the punter who left his quid in was a Tesco shopper who has bad Karma and deserved to lose his quid and will be re-incarnated as a louse in a rabid dog`s arse.

On another note, what were you doing back there, you heathen. sctatchinghead

It's impossible not to have to go in there for some stuff. I do as much shopping as I can in independents, but they still get their pound of flesh out of me.
