I was in the mill house before the game and it was a good atmosphere with plenty of portsmouth fans in there.
About 2.50 a group of around 15 lads came in each one of them carrying carpets trying to look hard, I wouldn't be surprised if these were the ones involved in the fighting.

About 2:40pm a group of lads came in the Corner flag seemed in good spirits few daft songs.. then a few rounds of "Hartlepool's a shit hole" then a few songs directed at a black lad with an afro "You're just a black english bastard".. Now I eventually realised the lad they were singing to they knew and maybe mates with but still not that nice to hear with a few bairns in the room.. Wouldn't surprise me if those arse holes had something to do with it
