Northampton were the worst football team I've seen at the Vic since Aidy Boothroyd brought Colchester here, how do these people get jobs in football? I seriously couldn't watch that shit every week. An appalling side. Hoofball.

I thought we played some nice football today at times, Dolan's pass and James control and finish for the first goal belonged to a higher level, and I thought James Poole was several leagues above the clogging he received before being clogged off the pitch. A very easy win were I thought we could of raised our game if required, Jack Baldwin was class at the back as well.

All very easy.

Great ball from Dolan and his best game yet. Just wish we would take him and Baldwin off set pieces.

Northampton reminded me of Monty Python reforming, in as much as I thought the Gumbies had decided to form a footy team........ Seriously, they had a cynical approach to game which appeared to be keep clean sheet and try and nick a goal while hustling the opposition to death. I can see how they beat Fleetwood ....... with both teams being advocates of an agricultural style of play it must have been the clash of the Gumbies.

Sat behind the opposition dugout and Flowers and Boothroyd didn`t shout much or offer any words of wisdom, in fact the only emotion showed was when Hangus was floored and he was laughing and made a play for the stretcher!
