I feel like I must have missed something, but I can't recall seeing a reason being given for Jack Compton not being involved at all last night - not making the bench at least.

He's not injured is he? It'd be good to have him involved at some point for the Newport game.

You can only have 5 subs so he probably missed out because of that.

Cheers Mr. Elkots - as theories go, that one's quite plausible.

There may be just 5 subs places available, but Pools' only attacking option off the bench last night was Tony Sweeney - and it's almost a year since his last competitive goal for the club.

Was suprised to see no real attacking options on the bench. Expected Compton to play some part of the match but obviously didnt even make the bench

I hear the lad needed some time in Wales, his Mrs has just had a baby. GREAT Management, again, by CC.

I had assumed that but he Tweeted as if he'd been at the game.

I still think it's good management though if you get sent off or suspended you don't walk back into a winning team. Burgess as well has found that. It creates a good mentality in the squad and absolutely no comfort zones.

Couldn't remember if the conversation I had at the match about it was a fact or a theory.

that's it ... we need a new block capitals word at the end of every rumour now - THEORY

eg.... I heard Pools have finally got round to getting another club interested in Howard - THEORY!!! as opposed to FACT!!!!

Whoooaaaah. Don't go confusing theory with hypothesis. Theory is as close to fact as you can get.

So you must say HYPOTHESIS at the end of each rumour. Or better still, POTENTIAL BULLSHIT.

Agreed, he has resisted putting Walker back in after injury and Compton and Burgess in after suspension. Got to earn your place back (or hope someone goes through a bad patch I guess)

To be fair I'm not his biggest fan after the whole incident with the fans, but, how does franks get in the team?

Everytime Duckworth goes on a run Franks goes hiding. Doesn't go wide just tucks into midfield and then the mail give him decent write ups!! Surely give Richards or Rutherford a run out they can't be worse.

Robbing a living imo

What incident with the fans??

Or do you mean Compton?

Compton for Franks would be my first change. I think he be more suited to playing through the middle than on the flank tbh.

you mean the incident where compton was getting grief so he told the fans to do one.

I like him more because of it!

Agree with the Bristol rovers one, but the one when the crowd got on his back because he couldn't whip a corner in and kept hitting the first man.

Same as Walton the other night, difference was, he never give grief

Do you think he is purposely hitting the first man?

If not shouting at him for it is only counter-productive.

Do you reckon he kept hitting the first man on purpose like?

What a tool you are.

Obviously he's not doing it on purpose!!

I can't wait to see him back though, he offers the team a different dimension on the wing, unlike that useless number 7 we have
