I reckon we'll win 2-1 or 3-2. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

We've got a new keeper which has rescued an ailing defence. Draws away at Crawley and Tranmere which much improved performances.

I think we'll go 2-0 up and hang on to win 3-1 with our 3rd coming on the break.

4-0 to them if the team selection involves the same shit we normally see.

If we play baldwin wyke noble Luscombe and Poole we might have a chance of a win, say 3-2

If that's to me then no, I'm living in Bangkok for the foreseeable and will only be getting back to the UK for 4 weeks in April.

By then we will both be in the playoffs!

So if we play Baldwin (a young kid who has potential), Wyke (who has probably played only about 45 minutes for the first team), Noble (who has only scored once), Luscombe (pie eating champion) & Poole (totally lost his confidence) we can turn your predicted 4-0 loss if they dont all play, into a 3-2 win if they do?

I accept that we are crap at the minute, but playing those 5 will result in yet another thrashing. yes playing the "old guard" has got us nowhere this season, but playing all those together would not end up in us finally winning a game.

To be honest I dont know, but I think throwing in 5 inexperienced young kids into an already difficult situation isnt the answer.

If you were 'predicting' you wouldn't have quoted but never mind.

To play along, I'd rather see us play 11 kids than the spineless bastards generally starting games. Each to there own

I think they will become the 19th team to score 5 against us this season. We will fail to score. The combination of the two leads me to think we will struggle.

we will struggle to win a game as long as hartley and Collins are our centre backs. They are both absolutely dreadful. An absolute liability in games.

I predict p-p due to waterlogged pitch. It's been a bit damp down here and the forecast is for more rain from midday.

It seriously must be a contractual thing that Howard has to play every game. To be fair to him he actually had a decent 60 minutes on Tuesday, after that he was hanging out of his arse.

John hughes is a blatant yes man.

FFS another joke team he selects. Is he not watching the fucking games he's 'managed'????

Another game were I would imagine we will lose by 3 minimum.

2 forced changes and the other 9 continue to play. 1 Simple question how?????

When will the Fukn management learn from there mistakes. August 2013??

I was fairly dismayed when I saw the team. It's like a cosy old gentlemans club for Collins, Murray, Humphreys and Howard. Nothing will change until somebody grows a pair and dares to drop the chosen few.

Those 4 get a game and the likes of Noble, Poole, Wycke, Baldwin and Luscombe are sat on the bench. It's a joke but it's simply not funny.

What is the record lowest number of points a team has achieved in a season?

That is the worst Pools team on paper I think I've seen since about 1997.

How can he pick that team? I know its early days but I'm not impressed at all so far.

Have to say that I've concluded that the 'he speaks his mind' claims don't seem to be evidenced so far. It's been same old same old up to now but with just as bad or worse results.

Post team selection prediction;

Walsall 4 Pools 1

If he continues to pick the same players then it'll become obvious why he got the job ahead of Phil Brown. Some people suspect the "Yes man" theory already, I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

This season has been soul destroying so far and when it reaches it's inevitable conclusion I wonder how many people will be left who can still be bothered.

We could sack Hughes at 5pm and I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Who is picking his team and why are we leaving our better, more creative players with a future on the bench?

That team selection is as close as the rules allow to giving Walsall a goal head start.

Even the teams in the bottom 4 with us and those just outside have been capable of scoring and putting some results together. We are just incapable of anything. This squad is very capable of finishing the season as the worst Pools squad in our history. Most of them deserve to be tarred with that brush and most of them deserve to be finished as pro footballers after this season. It's just a shame it's us that suffers.

It's totally ridiculous isn't it? Surely at least 6 of that starting line up won't be with us next season? Or will they be?

I can't stand what's happening at the club. It stinks.
