Just wanting a bit of help from anyone that currently does pub quiz's as I have recently started doing one at my local. They get the quiz delivered in by a company called Redtooth however a lot of the questions especially the connects rounds are very hard, my opinion of a quiz is that everyone should get at least 60-70% of the answers otherwise everyone gets bored and jacks its in.

So does anyone have any good links for questions and especially connection round questions (e.g first four answers are connected and thats the answer for question 5).

Sorry I don't, but I fully agree that most of the questions should be easy (though not "name the two boat race contestants" easy).
I ran a small quiz business covering various pubs in Paris during 8 years, so I am speaking from professional experience.

3) Which famous park designed by Frederick Law Olmstead is rought based on Birkenhead Public Park Liverpool?

they have a redtooth quiz in the park inn for the first two rounds and picture quiz everybody gets a minimum score of 6 for each round. This keeps everybody with a chance of winning and interested before the connections round and final wipeout round which is where the quiz is won or lost.seems to work ok for them as the pub is full most quiz nights.

This is the one I do but I change a lot of the questions as some are stupidly hard, like the connections on this week from red tooth;

1)which actress played Melaine owen in Eastenders?

2) Who succeeded Winston Churchill as Prime Minister in 1955?

3) Which english city has football league clubs called rovers and city?

4) In which tv series does gareth thomas play a political dissident convicted on a false charge and sentenced to deportation to a penal colony on a remote planet?

5) Connection

Now I know you can get a couple especially #2 however loads of young people come in and they wouldnt get no more than 3 and the connect ion me is hard.

The actress is Tamzin Outhwaite.

Connection; Avon????

Apparently; 1. Appeared in adverts for avon, 2. Title of the earl of Avon, 3. on the river Avon and 4. featured a character called Avon.

I do a couple of quizzes a year for my local club, using this website:

http://www.quiz-zone.co.uk/quizzesbymonth.html

Useful site, just a question of picking out what questions you think are appropriate - if you've got the time that is.

That's why you see a lot more link rounds and picture quizzes these days, mobile phones are killing it sadly.

Anyway quiz went well last night, thought would share one of the questions;

Which current PL manager competed in the 2008 UK open Darts championships?
