i've never been so fascinated listening to 2 blokes discuss (borderline argue) football and the art of defending as much as i am these 2.

Brilliant stuff.

I after agree. As much as Carraghers voice grinds on me, they are very knowledgeable and are entertaining.

Siding with Neville tonight, these foreign defenders maybe erratic but they are winning trophies.

Without wanting to sound like a buzzkill, I think they are a pair of chumps

They aren't as bad as that pile of shite that Jamie Redknapp presents on Sky Sports mind you

It is also a crying shame both BBC1 and Radio 5 seem to be using this model of presenting now

No, the stating the obvious and talking of shite, but that is only my take on it

I think the likes of Pat Nevin and Leroy Resonior are a million miles from the bin dipper and Manc and dont have to really on sound bites

talk about seeing things differently!

I think Gary Neville is already one of the best pundits, EVER!

They talk about things the way mates do in the pub, but with a hell of a lot more know how, I think it's good too see 2 pundits just go for it n happily rip players to bits if they are shite without worry or apologising.

I worked offshore with a big mate of Carraghers, he reckons he's very highly thought of by the FA and is being lined up for a role on the coaching staff, possibly with the kids with a view to progress through the ranks.

Both well clued up and it works having them work together. Very honest and that's the key. As said if a player isn't performing they just say it as it is.
If take these 2 over keys/gray all day long

Pat Nevin is the best pundit around. Neville not far behind.

Agree about Neville but Carragher gives me a headache. He is the the original "now then, now then, calm down, calm down" Scouser

Turn the sound off next time he's on and watch his arm movements - he's like Thunderbirds puppet doing a Harry Enfield impression.

Nevilles voice is quite annoying too, his orgasm when Chelsea scored in the champions league semi is one of the most surreal noises I've ever heard at a football match.

If Sir Richie can play there then I am sure Carragher can
