Anybody remember Vent 414 ? Lasted one album and a couple of years.

Just bought the album off Amazon for £7 quid decent stuff, bit biased with my love of the Wonderstuff!

Excellent album. Matt the drummer was in nearly every band in Hull, mostly as a drummer but he sang in at least one as well.

Didn't realise Milburn were together that long like, used to love them. Also Little Man Tate, think they were only together 4 year or so.

Tbh I hate music so haven't heard of many of the fuckers at all.

On the subject of blasts from the past, I noticed that the bloody Flatmates are on the gig listings for the Cluny. Did they even get an album out?

Lift To Experience were another briefly fine band. Only one album, though it must have been about 27 hours* long.

(* or maybe an hour and a half)

I was up at The Cluny on Saturday to see a local indie group called The Hype Foundation, although they were good their set lasted all of 30 mins sadx
