Mutters can I point out a small flaw in your expectation, if you don't go you can't buy a ticket so you won't win.
You could improve your chance of winning by getting say 4 of your mates and get 5 tickets and divvy up the winnings. A ton is better than nowt.
We adopted this after I had won it twice and the others were pissed off cos I wouldn't share. We now buy 6 tickets a game and have reaped the benefits several times
