If I won the lottery no chance, if I had a huge income and string of successful businesses then it could be a different story.

Be a Billionaire then buy a football club.

I'd just support the club more, buy a box for life, sponsor kit and stuff.

Leave the running of the club to people who clearly know what they're doing like Uncle Ken and Russ Green  bbolt

This expression has always puzzled me.

Gormless (a); to be without gorms. What is a gorm?

Yes maybe. I was thinking that.
1-Buy better players= Bigger wages
2-Buy a bigger ground to be a 15k stadium.
3-Would we fill it ?

More trouble than it would be worth, too many people wanting to pick faults from the sidelines

I agree Joe.
I have my ideas why and that's the region to do with that.

Would love to see Pools play at home in a sell out 15k all seater stadium
and would pay £400.00 snots no problem at all, its ambition I am shaking me head with Joe.
I would Love it me.

Who wouldn't Mouldy?

Seriously??

So ambition equates to winning the Euro Lottery. Funnily enough it's been my business plan for years.

Sat Lotto would be ok winning 100 mill on a rollover but I think I would buy Pools.. Only live Once and all that, I would fill a 15k stadium no problem.

You can't live a millionaires life style now without a minimum of about 20 million

I agree about just giving Pools half a million quid when then need it to buy players.

I also would commission a statue of Harold Hornsey to be put in the ground.

Actually sod it I would give the footy back to the fans and would buy all the season tickets and away tickets and give them to people of the town for nowt, that way we would get more people supporting there own club.

7,856 x 150 = £1,178,400.00

I'd have to have a hedge fund manager's income before I even entertained the idea (then dismissed it).

Q) How do you make a small fortune from a football club?

A) Start with a large fortune.

all I know is, if I were a rich man, I could think of better things to do than go "diddle diddle diddle diddle dum" all day long

I can't wait for the day when an incarcerated paedo climbs up on top of the prison in protest, just so the newspaper headline can be "Fiddler on the roof".

If I did win Euromillions I wouldn't want to run the club as it would be too much chew, but I would build some things that would last in the long term like youth facilities, a bit like what Donny Rovers have got now.

I am a multi-millionaire and I'm seriously considering buying Pools. I got a pm from a bloke called Voice of Reason and he says that if I buy Pools, put a million quid a year in and then scupper the club I'll be in tax-free clover for the rest of my days. There might be a catch but he seems convincing and I have to do something with all my cash. At the moment I'm just going diddle diddle dum all day and, as Parmo suggests, it gets a bit boring after a decade or so.

Next time I get one of them nice emails from the Nigeria fellas I am going to redirect them to HUFC and they can invest there, Russ will gladly help moving there funs from war torn places as they seem to not be able to as their dad/brother/mothers money is hidden in a specific location.

As a multi multi millionaire probably yes. If a bit less I would love to invest and get a place on the board.

It's easy to fill a 15,000 seater stadium.

You sell 4800 season tickets at 100 snots, Morcambe bring 98 and the bobbies put in 9102 uniforms on double time in case of chew.

Not saying it's profitable like...........

I've never had a Nigerian e-mail. It's kind of devaluing.
