I reckon a snail paced ancient forward who's barely scored a goal for years is exactly who we should be blowing our wage budget on.

Why haven't the powers that be taken this approach in recent years? Such a signing could even shift season tickets.

stpid Do you live in cloud cuckoo land?

The budget for Davies would probably get us two good forwards for this division who both score goals, or probably 4 young players on loan for season that could be the spine of our squad.

But hey lets throw all our eggs in one basket it worked with Howard and Solano.
