What does that generic sentence actually mean? Does it mean anything?

Its all over the news today.

Why is a great day for British Tennis?

Its a great day for Andy Murray, and a great day for Andy Murray fans.

But is it really a great day for british tennis??/?

My youngun and his mates went for a game of tennis yesterday whilst Murray was warming up.

They went to the headland tennis courts. Thought it would be empty whilst millions watched andy.

When they got there, they found only one of the courts had a net the other two had nothing. The one net that was there was fooked as well.

Youngun came home and said what a waste of time it was.................and said they wont be bothering again.

A great day for british tennis my arse.

Ah but you are missing the point. It SHOULD be a great day for british tennis. But it wont. And thats the real shame.
