FOOTBALL SPY: HODGSON IS ON THE BOOS

DARLINGTON boss David Hodgson is at the centre of an amazing row - after new chief executive John Sotnick was shown booing him on TV.

Hodgson took off new signing Julian Joachim after 70 minutes of the home draw with Torquay and cameras picked up Sotnick in the stands jeering the decision.

Sotnick came to Darlo from Boston and was the driving force behind the signing of far-travelled Joachim in a relatively big-money buy for League Two.

Hodgson felt Joachim was not at his best in the game and replaced him to howls from the VIP box.

Sotnick called an emergency board meeting after the game and the manager may be axed today.

Respected Hodgson is in his third spell in charge of the Quakers and has clashed with Sotnick since he came to the club.

more likely he'll walk first - sick as fook by all accounts - especially with proctor leaving him to do all the 'we were better than them but still lost/drew' interviews on cleveland :laugh:

I thought I heard on the Radio on the way home that Bodgson was now staying after a clear the air meeting?

I want him to stay..he is the most stupid man in football and you have to agree he makes us Poolies laugh,,,,,,,,,,, :grin:

Its been on radio five today as well - interview with Snotty saying when he watches a match he cant help but transform himself into a passionate supporter and wasnt booing the manager but was joining the supporters in showing how he didnt agree with a tactical decision.
Great stuff - or maybe not if they get anyone better.

BUT - although it was through cheating a la Chesterfield - he DID manage to mould a title winning side. That's the difference between him and Hodgson, and both have had decent squads to work with in the past

Evans is clueless, we have a £2million budget where as they have fuck all. Please put him in charge of Darlow cause he'll be moaning about how rich we are. Would be class.
