Looks like a good appointment to me. Although you always have to wait and see how things turn out there looks to be a decent chance of getting some forward momentum going and it is good to see the club appointing potential.

I'm a bit disappointed that they seem to have moved reasonably quickly to fill the vacancy and actually got somebody who looks like a decent choice. We could face a severe moaning drought at this rate. A hand full of good signings and there won't be anything to go off it about until somebody performs badly in a friendly.

What a cracking interview that is. Clean start, work already underway for new recruits, couple soon others might be made late because that is the way football is but they'll handle it. Will be using contacts which suggests some use of the loan system. High standards, high tempo football that fans can be proud of etc

If he is half as good in the dug out as he is on camera he'll do well.

Hughes delivered. He wasn't given a fair chance. Cooper has a close season, a pre-season and his own assistant. I still think Hughes got screwed.

Im optimistic with Cooper and Hignett (certainly more so than I was with Hughes)

Ultimately Cooper will need to be treated better than Hughes and provided with some cash , otherwise unless he is a miracle worker his ability to conduct a good interview will be irrelephant.
