Looks once again like Hughes will be forced into doing something with the team that he should of done without needing injuries/suspensions to force his hand. See what a few of the young ones can do and give them a bit of experience, lets be honest they cant do any worse than the 'senior pro's'!

Team on Monday could be .....

..........Flinders.........
Austin...Collins..Hartley...Holden
Monkhouse.....Baldwin....Hawkins
Franks....Wyke....James.

Subs. Mchugh, Luscombe, Boagey, Rutherford.

Think its safe to say without players passing fitness test we wont be filling our bench!

way past caring with this lot. Same shit different game. Baldwin and some of the other young uns excepted. I feel sorry for them to have to contend with such wank senior pros in the team

He'll still find a way of keeping James on the bench.

I beg to differ there Ritchie, an otters arse is watertight and does indeed have a clue, I would suggest a sheeps arse for your analogy as they let farmers in occasionally and become glued up :shifty:

Id rather see Sam Collins up front than Wyke.

Wyke was again very poor yesterday. He looked like a young Colin nish. Seems to be scared to jump

Wyke might be terrified at the prospect of actually signing for Pools... but with the club's player policy being so bizarre, below par performances should make sure it happens so he fits in nicely !!!!!

I think he'll go 5-4-1 myself.

That would be a Hughes style attacking lineup.

When Wyke first signed he looked lovely, dynamic and could lead the line very well even if he was up there alone.

Now he looks slow, unfit, uninterested and struggles to retain possession.

Yet another player to sign whose ability we've managed to knock out with relative ease. More proof its time for Mickey Barron to go

Spot on. It's as though when players sign they appear promising prospects ...... then after a few months they are the epitome of lethargy and a general loss of form and confidence follows. There have been plenty of managers recently, but the one constant has been the coaches ...it ain't rocket science.

Whilst I agree about coaching and players going backwards and Barron needing to go I'm absolutely convinced Wyke is trying to play through an injury, he has a limp when he runs, looks like his knee to me.

Looks like Hughes will have to play the kids. Q music and pointless optimism!

All comes back to one inescapable truth to me.

Hughes is not the man to take our club forward. Move on...

I have now given up, league two is a reality, can't say I'm bothered who plays, or where, we are down. The summer break seems the most important question mark now. Who will go and who will come in?
