I'd say Hughie Jones was king of The Spinners!!!! :sweeeet: :sweeeet:

A truly gorgeous Scouse Folk band which crossed the great divide of Calypso/Reggae with Irish Folk....not bad for a band from Liverpool!!!! :sweeeet:

Much better than them other Scouse Scallys from the 60's....who were shite!!!! :roll: :grin: :laugh:

Did you see them live at Hartlepool Rovers ground? Can't remember when it was but must have been after '78 as PC was with me. Seem to remember having a chinky meal in Church Street, then going to see the
concert on a stage set up on the pitch. Anyone else remember it?
