The other thing is that they aren't a threat to anyone. They might make noises but they're very small noises and they have absolutley no money from top to bottom.

didnt the Koren war end in 1953,and it surely involved a large number of countries and not just the Yanks.

It was N. Korea vs S. Korea with UN military advisors assisting the South and Chinese soldiers fighting alongside the North.
The UN military advice soon became military intervention and most of the contigent was American.

But it was pretty much the McCarthyist USA's game in the first place.
