Never ever thought i'd end up saying something like this but....

Last 10-15 minutes we could have done with him

Things don't work out so you clutch at the old failed option. Let's hope Hughes doesn't share that view.

The only time Howard might have been useful was the cross from the right wing in the 2nd half, as he was jumping Poole lost his footing & the ball went just over his head. Howard might have headed that & scored, but he might have missed or also slipped, other than that one chance I couldnt see what difference Howard would have made.

I just thought at times we struggled to breakdown their defence by passing it on the ground and I am clutching at old straws but maybe hoofball might have worked last night.... But we'll never know... I still don't want Howard starting on Saturday though

Even if hoofing it did work, I dont want to see it.

Its fucking awful, and belongs in 1975.

And whilst I suspect we have a manager that might encourage it, I will not be getting a season ticket again.

I am going to start a football purist elite.

I am absolutely convinced Orient will engage in a game of footy on Saturday, and the young lads with pace and good movement off the ball will find plenty of space to exploit. Could be a 3-2 either way, let's hope it's us who gets it

Orient also have forwards and midfielders who are far more capable than what Portsmouth showed us last night. We didn't have anyone with any creativity that looked like they could unlock what was a piss poor team last night, that's the worrying thing for me. We sat far too deep in my opinion.

Majority of the game it looked like Walton was playing centre back

That would involve Howard being up with play and actually in the box.
