I can't explain just how happy this news makes me, I've been smiling ever since I saw the article on the bbc news site. I know it's a tough ask for just one man, but if anyone can singlehandedly drag us out of this relegation battle then Howard can :D

Their craic is reminiscent of a backward third world country but it is possible that they're not students as they appear to be as thick as horsemince.

Well no, there isn't...

I've never claimed to be anything other than a Scottish university student who likes Howard - hence the Howard related username rather than a 'pool related one.

If I was any sort of troll I would have went out of my way to post random rubbish on every thread on this forum. I'm not, I've posted about his injury when he initially got it, kept a look out for your results (I won't be mentioning the correlation between Howards abscence and your upturn in fortunes though :laugh:

) and then came on to post about my delight at Howards return.

Anything else I can clear up for you in this 'unusual' situation?

No coincidence. We both know each other and like Howard. The news of Howards injury prompted us both to actually sign up to the board rather than just read Hartlepool news.

I appreciate we're in a minority of liking Howard - presumably a result of us not actually being pool fans - but trolls we are not.

In other Big Stevie news one of our dogs had puppies and we ended up calling one Big Steve because he was bigger than the others but not very mobile. He's the only one we've got left- nobody wants Big Steve so we're stuck with him. There is a lesson there somewhere but I can't think what it is.
