The fish was (and is ) used by Christians as a symbol of their faith. It was first used by them in ancient Rome to let each other know they were Christians and to not be discovered by the authorities. Not that you see many Roman guards hanging around car parks these days looking for lion food :laugh:

It's supposed to disrupt the sensor beams from speed cameras. Whether or not it works I dunno. Lorry drivers started it.
