At one o'clock on Saturday Noel Brown, Chairman of the Supporters Association, presented Ritchie Humphries with a cheque for £200, the proceeds of the Alan Murray talk-in. The money raised is for the H.U.F.C. youth development programme.
The Association are hoping to send a coach to Swindon, but this depends on enough demand. Bookings must be made no later than Wednesday night. The C.F. will be open from 7 o'clock Phone number 261197.
The upstairs lounge in the C.F. is available for hire. There is no charge for the use of the lounge but a £15 returnable deposit is required.I usually use the bar of the C.F. but I was in the upstairs lounge for the Alan Murray talk-in . I was very impressed with the decor. The room is full of football memorabilia, shirts, programmes, press cuttings etc. and there is a very interesting time line linking the clubs history with local and national events. Well done to whoever was responsible.
The Hartlepool Male Voice Choir practice in the C.F. ever Friday night and they are always pleased to recruit new members. If any one is interested in joining ask for Duncan Graham any Friday night.

I forgot to mention that last Thursday, Bobby Brown was presented with a tankard for 20 service as steward of the C.F. Well done Bobby.
I wonder if any other steward of a club in Hartlepool can beat that record .
