Rangers? Nope, not sure I recognise that name. Pretty sure they died.

Though he did run rings around the tribute act today. ;)

See, what Jon Daly has going for him is that he scored that goal, which obviously and quite rightly made him a Poolie legend, but then didn't hang around long enough to make a bad name for himself before fucking off.

One man's Humphreys is another man's Daly

Daly got more stick in his short time with the club than Humphreys ever did.

Great goal at Cardiff but did little else. Can't remember many Pools fans complaining at the time when he left.

Got it off here

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/hartl ... _2006.html

Don't know how accurate it is but that's what it says here-- didn't think we got that much for Boyd either..

Adam Boyd 24
Luton Town Championship
£ 1.320.000

Jon Daly
Centre Forward 23
Dundee United FC
Premier League £616.000

Which closely followed his successful penner when everyone else who'd taken one that season had a 100% unsucess rate.

A SPL side beat a team in the Scottish 3rd division at home and you would think they won the cup.

A third division team with a much larger wage budget than the SPL side mind. Even if they aren't getting value for their money.

Yeh the same third division side that lost to Stirling Albion and drew with the mighty Berwick Rangers not long ago.

Besides Steven Howard, in his current injured state would have scored against fecking Ross Perry and Emilson Cribari on Saturday. rage
