recieved the following reply from durham police asking if they are going to hold the coaches next week
Dear Sir

Many thanks for your e-mail correspondence re your concerns for organised supporters coaches attending the forth coming Darlington v Hartlepool football fixture on Sunday 25th March 07.

You will obviously be aware for such a large away following as Hartlepool are bringing that a lot of organisation has been taking place and still continuous to take place. An arrival time was requested from Cleveland Police who are assisting with this escort and along with Darlington football club it was agreed that ALL the escorted coaches should arrive at the TFM Arena at around 1215 hrs, and that on their arrival all the away turnstiles should be opened so as to allow the large section of supporters to gain entry to their stand for the fixture.

Darlington Police are not aware of the departure times for the coaches from Hartlepool and I can only suggest that this time may have come to light so as to ensure that all the coaches are ready to travel together to the game. Durham Police have no plans to hold any coaches in the manner you have suggested and expect the coaches to travel direct to Darlington Football ground.

Finally I do hope that this reply has answered your concerns and that both you and your two young children thoroughly enjoy the day's football, and can assure you that Darlington Police are making every effort for all parties involved, and the residents of Darlington to have as pleasant an experience as possible on the day.

Well this reply is a contradiction to what the organisers are being told.

So we will see.

As for them not being aware what time we are setting off,why then have we been told to switch to 11am and not 11.30 as HUDSA coaches wanted to leave at this time to avoid the chaos at the Vic next Sunday. stpid
