Holden had an absolute nightmare in his last game

There's quite a difference between people asking for us not of pensioners in midfield and attack to wanting the defence full of kids, isn't there?

So which of our young players do you want to play in midfield?

With Hartley out, Austin suspended and Horwood injured, he's not got a lot of choice really.

Maybe Johnson instead of Holden, if he can play left side

Is there? So we dont want the younguns in defence then. Just midfield and up front. Thanks for clearing that up.

sticking with the same players who got us into the clarts is obviously suddenly going to start working though, isn't it? I fail to see the difference between getting tubbed 4 or 5 nil with a team full of kids and getting beat 4 or 5 nil with a team full of past-it parasites

And as for ruining kids' careers... well if they weren't good enough in the first place then it's best to find out early and get people in who CAN do it when the season ends.

Again this boils down to... what the fuck is Micky Barron still doing in paid employment at this football club? He's not exactly been prolific in any of his roles to put it mildly... and hasn't produced many good youth players of note seemingly who can cut it in the 1st team ranks, all the time he did that job.

FFS, I can only presume you're deliberately missing the point.

People have expressed frustrations at the number of elderly legs in the team,
Particularly Humphreys and Murray in the middle plus Howard upfront as we've looked very stagnant going forward.

This is very different to everyone wanting the team packed with kids like you're suggesting, isn't it?

It's interesting how apparently if we dropped the players that have been battered all season we would be worse.

I'm sorry but i fail to see how we can be worse.

These jokers are 20 without a win but let's not give the ressies a chance, that would be stupid!!

Clowns to the left of me jokers to the right should be our new motto

Possession 61 - 39, but it sounds a lot worse than that.

We have had one corner and one shot on goal, sounds like a long hard second half

it's really sad when people are getting wound up with each other on here... I'm off out!!!!!!!! So I can cool off!!!!!!

The real culprits in all of this are the people at the club who have collectively created this mess, yet carry on as if they are doing ok

They really need to cancel that talk in cos I think it could get quite heated, to be fed yet again more brainwash from inside the club - which they need to realise folks do not want to hear in any shape, way or form any longer.

I think it's time for the truth - even if it's to say the owners are looking to get out of Pools or whatever.

The propaganda lines are making people like me vomit, to be blunt

ok - boils then. But I see them for what they are... objects that have to be removed for the good of the club.

I'm not very sentimental about them you see

It's difficult to care about losing anymore. It's just a given every week now and nothing is going to change. For the first time in 28 years I find myself completely unbothered about the result.

Such positivity on here again. OK we got beaten again. Yes it's a record. But did anyone seriously think we would get a good result today? Resources are stretched - look at the bench today! Horwood off injured after 3 mins.
But in the second half we put in a spirited display and could have snatched a point. We didn.t fold or crumble and we have in the past. Lets look at a few of the positives - I know there aren't many but let's hang on to what we have ffs! banghead banghead

Here are four positive comments.

3.

4.

Positives from today.

My lunch of pulled pork and beer was nice.

The xmas tree is up.

I didn't piss away £100 watching the most enbarassing team in English football.

I won a quid off our lass betting that franks and wyke would be subbed

There's quite a difference between people asking for us not of pensioners in midfield and attack to wanting the defence full of kids, isn't there?

0-1 aginst the Dons is not to bad with three under 21s in the back 4. Dont understand why your so against giving them a chance?

If we won the next five games and the teams immediately above us performed very, very badly we might just escape the bottom four so let's accept that the main priority now is to get the club/team into good enough shape to prevent a fall into the Conference next season.
As a lifelong supporter (60+ years) I have been proud of the club's performances in the last ten years which I rate as the best period in my living memory but cannot help worrying that we could go the way of Darlo if a rebuilding job is not executed soon.

For the love of Christ, where have I ever suggested I was against giving them a chance?

You couldn't of twisted more of what I'd said if you'd tried.

Apparently the Youth Team players were acting like typical 'Footballers'....ie.arseholes!!!! :|
They were suppose to be helping shoppers pack their bags but they too busy playing on their Mobile Phones, flirting with young lasses (shoppers and staff) and running about all around the tills like 10 year olds!!!! :|
Quite a few Shoppers complained about them and their behaviour!!!! :|
I Fucking HATE Footballers me!!!!

ask Brian Clough what he would make of their behaviour... and yes it IS very relevant. It says a lot about someone's character if they cannot control themselves in ANY situation!!!

A bit like some of the posts i have read on this board this season. Uncontrolled rants in ANY situation. Insults, name calling and even threats. Heard it all on here.

What makes it worse was there were 2 coaching staff behind the tills watching them banghead

I did notice 5 of them on their mobiles and saw 2 of them dicking about, I sit next to them unfortunately in the millhouse and they act like a bunch of tits in there also, that Bert shouted something last week about getting it up the field and 1 of them shouted " Make your mind up, last week you wanted football, you`ve got it this week, Christ on a bike" :shhh:

Jesus wept if those think that's what constitutes football then they are finished with the game before they've even started!! Yes I know Bet's a crank, but it shows everyone at the entire club is deluded!!!

I posted the above on 15th December 2012, and it is worth reading some of the other posts because it shows that nothing has changed in FIVE years.

Today's home defeat against Fylde must be one of the worst in the history of the club and the manager must go. Unfortunately he cannot take most of the so called full time professionals with him. Failure to act and its Spennymoor here we come!
