You'd have to say it's the barcodes.

I mean at least Boro do summat, Cup Finals, semi's etc. Sunderland at least get promoted and relegated every two seasons.

Newcastle do f uck all, haven't done for 60 years and yet they still think they're the DB's. It's hard to be big headed about doing the square root of ball all but they manage it.

For my part, having lived in Newcastle for a year I have to say that it's the only place I've ever been where supporting Walsall was a cardinal offence. Other places were patronising or dismissive but I felt a mixture of disgust and hate towards me up there. Weird.

I used to support Middlesbrough for about two weeks in the early 1990s - no idea why, just fancied a change. :wink:
