they are at home to Wrexham on Sat and Lincoln are at home to Barnet, while the top three of Pools, Walsall and Swindon all have extremely tough games away from home. Walsall are at Wycombe who have only lost once at home all season, and who will be smarting from getting gubbed at Torquay. Swindon are at Grimsby, who have won six of their last seven, so Swindon will also have their work cut out there. It is forseeable that the top three lose while Lincoln and MK both win, which would seriously blow the race for top three wide open once more. Luckily for Pools, Lincoln play Swindon when we are at Darlo and Walsall are at MK. Having said that, if the unthinkable happened at Darlo, and both Lincoln and MK also won again next week, then it would be short straw time for everyone. Personally I would be delighted if Pools got a draw in each of the next two games, as we have Chester and Accrington at home with Barnet away sandwiched in between after that, and I'm confident we would get at least 7 points from those three. If that happens we would be on 83 points with five still to play. That would delight me no end!!!!

There was rumours that the famous Scottish poet had descedants in Hartlepool
