Has been stripped of his 7 tour de France winning titles.

Does this now mean, in the grand scheme of things, that we are now get the 2003 division 3 title off Rushden?

A poll in l'Equipe has 68% of respondents saying they should void all seven races.
As as sidenote, there are no French cyclists who stand to gain if they don't. Not saying that's significant like.

Thing is Armstrong claims he's never failed a drug test and never took them. Me being me thinks hang on he's beaten men who have admitted to taking and failing drug tests, he must have had a bloody good training regime if he's clean and he's beating cheats who are taking performance enchancing drugs.

As is so often unfortunately the case, once one member of the family gets the taste, the others follow.

I think that's his way of saying he's not going to give the prize money back.

It's pretty much common knowledge in cycling circles that Armstrong failed two doping tests. The first he tested positive for steroid use. He got out of that by claiming he had saddle sores, backdating a prescription for steroid cream to fit in with his story. The second time was around 2001/2002 and it is said he tested positive for EPO, which the UCI then covered up. He was the sport's biggest draw and to lose him would have been disastrous.

Usain bolt not beat anyone on performance enhancing drugs though. if I was on performance enhancing drugs and failed to beat a clean athlete, I'd want my money back as the drugs couldn't be much good.... sctatchinghead
