Cooper wants new faces.

Criticizes Walton too.

Sounds like Walton out for Murray. Which means Sweeney keeps his place. But will it be 4-4-2 again or 4-5-1?

Anyhow, fingers crossed for a couple of signings before the transfer deadline.

we should play both Murray and Walton with either Luscombe or Sweeney infront of them

Again. I like his sentiment.

It's refreshing to think we again have a boss with a backbone and some aggression.

But gas isn't anything without flint.

I think Cooper needs to shut his trap now and just get on with sorting his team out. All this talk like 'if they don't like it they can welcome to the board' will do nothing for morale and he seems to be putting a wall up between himself and the players.
He's now slagging Walton off for not being good enough but it's not Waltons fault that he didn't have the right player alongside him, which might have helped him settle.
Some players might respond a bit better to some positive coaching rather than just getting slated.

Walton spent more time stood with one hand on hip and his other hand being combed through his hair than doing anything else last Saturday.

I for one expected more of an impact from him.

Bollocks to mollycoddling them any longer.

In Coopers interview he proper bit when the interviewer suggested (as a lot did on here ), that he'd virtually announced his first team three weeks before the season started. My worry is that he's been here long enough now for us to show signs of improvement and although its early in the season, we're not are we. We're the same long ball side we were with Wadsworth.

Err no. I'm saying maybe if Cooper had tried playing Murray with Walton he might not have struggled so much.
Walton has come from a team in the division below and might need a bit of time to adjust to div1, having a decent player alongside him could help.
Strange that cooper didnt give it a try in pre-season or when we were getting humped by Crewe.
