Howay lads, you must all have been a victim of bloody minded bureaucracy at some stage. It's impossible to speak to these people, they never had common sense or learned English and since the late eighties, they don't understand the rules either. I just tipped the fook out. Easiest option. :roll:

my 90 year old dad has dementia so has gone into west view lodge for assesment to see if he can still live at home with my sister as his carer, they advised us not to give his bungalow up until he has been assessed but have decided to stop his housing benefit because he is in the care home, you couldnt make it up

If you're in a care home on a temporary basis HB can usually be paid for upto 52 weeks, or if it's just for a trial period the HB will stop after 13 weeks!!
Surprised they've stopped his benefits if it's only a temp stay!!
