What has he made happen? Apart from furthering his own ambitions and career? He's a master of claiming credit where it's not due, but people seem to buy it every time so he must be doing something right to dupe large numbers of people.

I've said it many times before, but I'm convinced Boris is an Ali G-type comedy character invented for Have I Got News For You, where he first appeared, and now it's a joke that got out of hand. The bloke who plays him is probably from somewhere like Wigan and his real name is Gary.

And the bloke who plays Alan Sugar looks nothing like him in real life - he has to spend hours in make up to apply the facial hair and those deep worry-crevices.

Boris is an upper class twit who behaves like an upper class twitt. I have to say I prefer him to his other Oxford chums who, from time to time, try to pretend they are 'one of the lads'. Most of all he rid London of the odious Ken Livingstone so he should be praised for that. His main achievement is that he helped London do its part to deliver us a fantastic Olympics. I have to say that the transport services over the games exceeded my expectations. He has a team of people who actually have to come up with and implement ideas. On that basis he is a better mayor than ones elsewhere in the country who have spent years at loggerheads with their teams.

The utterly shambolic mess they made of the Tall Ships for instance just proves how utterly, utterly, out of their depth they were when it came to doing some proper work. I suspect about 50% of them would last about a week in the private sector.

You also cant blame Labour for not supporting some of Drummonds other pie in the sky nonsense, like that Victoria Harbour bollocks. Or perhaps Dibble was referring to the Millhouse crap, which even IOR seem to have washed their hands of now its been disclosed theres a £5 million quid black hole in the finances. Lets be honest, when they have had money to spend its generally been pissed up a wall, or pissed up a Transport Interchange for want of a better phrase.

Drummond is mayor of a third rate coastal town that seems to be permanently on the brink of closing down altogether. There's some good points about the place, but lets be totally honest, most of the fun is happening somewhere else, and you cant really blame businessmen for not wanting to invest in the gaff.

Nah Ken, I've had a decent day. I love my job.

Unfortunately some complete and utter not nice people at the council are currently doing my napper in. Apparently because I didn't notify them in writing when I started work they reckon they are going to prosecute me for Housing Benefit Fraud.

This despite the dole saying to me the would tell the council , me ringing the council and telling them, and me setting up a standing order for me rent the same week I started work, and paying the fucking thing for the last 4 months.

Apparently I have to be interviewed under caution on tape, which means taking a fucking afternoon off work. They also reckon I have to repay the £1100 overpayment of rent I've allegedly had off them, even though I haven't had it.

Spent about 3 hours in the last 2 weeks talking to liars and thicketts on the phone, and got fuck all nowhere.

So, was your housing benefit paid to you to pay your landlord or was it paid straight to your landlord?

So your rent account must be in credit, you just apply for the credit back to be paid to HB!

so your rent should be £110 in credit why not suggest you dont pay rent for 2 weeks and pay the £55 to the council for the 2 weeks, overpayment repaid and everyone happy or have you suggested this and been fooked off

To save all the paperwork HB will surely just ask HH for the credit to be paid to them, then bobs your uncle!
They should be over the moon you're working, its saving them 80 bar a week or whatever your rent is!!

Yr not gonna believe this, but it's 100 per cent true, I've played football many times against the black fella ( Trev ) in that video.

He played in midfield alongside his fellow Quodrophenia star Phil "Parklife" Daniels.

I was a bit too good for them in fairness.

Was that before they where acting ?

Fantastic film by the way  if anybody hasnt seen it you are missing a treat

I only realised after watching it after about 5 times that they all use there real names in the film

I'm at a wedding too although the groom is a Loid. Pretty extreme spending 20k just to avoid watching that pile of dross play but I can understand it at the same time.

True true.

I particularly hate Bailiffs. How could anyone actually want to do that job.

I can understand the police one, as there are plenty of power crazy people about. Its no coincidence just how mnay bobbies are also referees. They even like power in their spare time.
