They are painting one where he was born, what more do people want? Maybe he visited Hartlepool once so we should paint one here??

File under attention seeking.

The paintwork to me looked reasonable, yes it may be a bit of attention seeking but I think most people people would rather the police concentrated their supposedly dwindling resources on tackling crimes that cause the public real concern.

So now the Olympics has finished are those that excelled at London 2012 going back to norm with a bump?
Are we soon to go back to taking the details of things going wrong and magnifying them.
Remember the seats that went empty, the days that passed without a gold medal !#We still have a question of legacy and the question is a tough one.
How do we follow this?
What comes next?

In a way though this nation is in debt. Our land of doubters have already set a new tone.
Back in the day when the games were on there way to London there was a time to be a bit sceptical about the whole thing.
The torch pulled people out of there homes up and down and all the way across the country.
This is what people thought of the games and it simply went on from thereand it turned into two weeks in which we looked at sport and each other.
Could we afford it? Probably not.
Was it worth it?
The people who came out and made the games of 2012 have already answered that question !
" Inspire a generation " The billboard slogan that became the olympic , the wish that cam true.
Highlights of a hotday watching New Zealand v Belgium and it being glorious weather and 2 hours Later getting soaked !
200k plus people enjoying themselves in the Olympic Park. A wonderful atmosphere !
USA USA USA being chanted in Earls court but i must say that Kim from Korea ! Enough said.
Hyde park watching the open swimming and the crowds were unbelievable. It goes on !
