Interesting to watch but I wouldn't like to sit through it for hours. Also at the very borderline of what I'd call sport.
But never mind, we have Carl Hester, Charlotte Dujardin, and Laura Bechtolsheimer leading the way. (Good set of British names, that :-o.)

If you've ever had a bash at dressage you'd know it's probably the supreme communication between an animal and a human in the world. A police horse would stroll a dressage competition, they're almost robotic.
