Have you been in an audience when the concert was recorded for a live album or for the telly.

I have been in the audience at a live Dire Straights recording a gig and was at Leeds Roundhay Park when Phil Collins did a live recording for a couple of songs also at a Simply Red gig did some live recording stuff.

I never heard me on any of the above, can I claim some royalties. stpid

I went to a recording of Franks Fantastic Shed Show at Yorkshire Television but they used the audiences clips from another show when it went out on telly.

Richard Whiteley must have been the worst tv presenter in the history of television; so bad it was embarrasing to watch, no skill, no timing and awful dress sense.
I saw Chip's favourites Maximo Park about two years ago and they recorded it on DVD along with the Brixton concert. A friend of mine went crowd surfing and when she got to the front and turned round she wondered why the crowd cheered. Then she realised she had a tit hanging out.
Lovely as well it was

I suspect there may be a few Poolies that were at the recording of a Comedy Skit for a Channel 4 show a few years back.... For those that weren't there:

Fulham away, mid to late 90s. Might have been the game when Joe got two goals in the last ten for a draw. At half time a Scots bloke appears on the pitch and starts buttering up the fans, and proceeds to record something involving two guys playing chess in the centre circle, and the fans making "oooooh" noises or doing "Goal" celebrations as moves were made. Needless to say the Poolies tried to sabotage it.

The recording was actually for "Phil Kay Feels...." where the Scots bloke (Kay) did a semi-improvisational thing with some filmed inserts. I caught one or two and thought it wasn't bad, but didn't see the clip from Fulham!

I was fortunate enough to attend one of John Peels Christmas shows for Radio 1 - we all had to sing Carols with Belle and Sebastian providing the music - Maureen and me were standing next to David Gedge and I can say that the only time I have sung was live on Radio 1 sharing a mic with Gedgie. By the way, he was (probably still is) a very nice guy with no pretentions. We had a good time.

Top gadgie, David Gedge. I went to see Cinerama at the Leadmill and he was DJ'ing the bar afterwards. When I went through, he was playing 'Yes Sir I Can Boogie by Baccarra.
