On 606, calling for the managers head.

Harsh if you ask me, seen as the problems seem at board level, they are the original selling club.

After the Luton managers outspoken comments at times this season though I couldn't see another club touching him with a barge pole.....

neither boyd or duffy made the bench tonight.

newell has had edwards and vine sold from under him and lost parkin to an injury. that makes the 500k he spent on boyd a problem for him i guess when his team cant score goals.

We've sold Boydie, FFS , Bloody IOR, I do hope they have bought a replacement!!!

They have signed Talbot since for the same money as Boyd I think (or even more?) which doesn't look good on AB.

A mate was at Luton V Norwich the other week and when Boyd's name was read out on the bench it was greeted with boos from the home fans, it was always a gamble spending £500,000 on a player who was still to prove he was over a serious injury, lets be honest he was still (and still looks to be) totally out of shape.

I want Adam Boyd to be a massive success wherever he plays, but at this moment in time getting £500,000 for him looks like a Wilson masterstroke.

I agree pj.

Pools should buy him back for £150,000

Now that will be a masterstroke!

Quote from Luton fan on 606;

"Luton manager should resign now, he is completely inept"

"He only got the job because the bloody Watford fans voted for him"

"He inherited a good team, he hasn't signed one good player"

Fickle? I don't care!!!

Couldn't happen to a nicer c*nt/club.

I wish Boydy hadn't gone there and fucked things up for himself, although I always thought he was a bif of a tit I don't think any Poolie wants to see a lad like him throw away his superb ability.

Tit is harsh but its frustrating to see someone with his massive ability not doing as well as he should be.

You probably know him better than me but I'm only basing my opinion on the encounters I had with him. Less than 24 hours after we got relegated he told us how he hoped he was leaving Pools, I can't say I am in a particular hurry to see Boydy return to Pools but I really hope he doesn't let his undoubted enormous talent and potential go to waste.

i agree he is a tit and after the brentford game he told me he hopes we go down so he can move on. He's a first class c0ck. Only thinks about him self. And he cheated with one of me mates girlfriends, TIT

Personally I dont. The fact he seemed to have little character meant nothing to me.
This may be contentious and may even be wrong but I think one of the reasons he was disliked is because he's a scouser - and a miserable one at that.
The only real time I was pissed off with him was when he took Eifion off and replaced him with Kevin Henderson when Eifion was having a blinder. One of the few times I've booed (the decision to take Eifion off, not bringing Hendo on). Newell then admitted Eifion was our best player but he wanted to try something different. confised
