I would like to think that a similar repeat offer could happen next season - maybe £100 again is too much to ask but the offer has got to be considered a huge success (even when some people have paid a ton and rarely attended) because the money has come in anyway.

There was a good idea about having raffles for players shirts on here the other day and combine that with evenings like a cooper talk in or perhaps even a Hodcroft talk in and money can be made from other revenue streams as long as the entrance fee s right.

Great to get some recognition and thanks to all those involved - including those who stepped up and bought one!

If it has worked financially for the club this season, then I can't see why this can't be repeated next season.

I'll be working overseas again, but will still be supporting it if it goes ahead!

"compare the season tickets" ditty indeed.... Pools or "also-ran" football at eye watering prices at barcode or mackem city (smoggies not even worth a mention)

You may as well watch competitive football at Pools for next to nowt. Experience football on grass, not telly, as our esteemed Mouldy Old Dough put it to the doubters and sneering types in Tesco!!!
