Hartlepool/York/Manchester Piccadilly/Stoke on Trent.

Try National rail enquiries website. Probably cheaper to buy tickets for each stage of journey rather than a Hartlepool to Stoke ticket.

Hartlepool rail station ticket office very helpful especially the older man if he is on duty.

I'd rather go to Tripoli than Stoke. BUT I used to go National Express bus to Sheffield and then straight on to Stoke.

Yes; the BNP were successful there for a reason.

Went to stoke back in November. Got the Megabus from Boro - Manchester which cost about £10, then train from Manchester to Stoke for about £3-£5
