Mark Perryman being asked about Parker being named
as captain on Sky Sports News.
He was also asked about the Euros and
logistics for fans, he said going to the Ukraine
will be like spending a wet weekend in Hartlepool
but without the rain!
Clip anyone please...
Cheeky git.

What a stupid thing to say!!!!!

I think the Club should write to him about that remark.

Putting obvious bias aside, the problem is he was trying to sound witty by saying that, but it makes him look ungrateful that England have qualified for a major tournament.

If you had the choice between England not in the Euros or the Ukraine, I know where I'd rather be - watching England in the Euros.

Break out the outrage moped.. I think Mr Drummond should drop him a few pictures of town in 2010 when we had quite a few good days in the town and then ask for his public apology..

It not that late but I'm afraid that makes no sense to me whatsoever.

He's not insulted the club, he's insulted the town if anything. So why should the club write anything ?

He doesn't mention us not being in the finals. He saying going as a fan may be a nightmare logistically for getting around the Ukraine.

The Club represents the town in the competition of the Football League.

Sure it may be difficult to get to, but I think he doesn't find Ukraine to be an attractive place to go.

Which is a shame, becausefrom what I've seen Kiev is actually a very nice place.

What Steve Perryman has to say about Hartlepool will cause me to lose little sleep.

However....................

A couple of weeks I had to go to a meeting at Washington. I accompanied a couple of Credit controllers who needed to sort out an overdue account. Several 000k's worth. After the meeting we were peckish so I took them to Seaton, via a quick tour of the Marina. We stopped at the Almighty Cod on the front and partook of a cod and chips along with two half lots. Both the girls were hugely impressed, not just by their fish and hips which they described as the best they'd ever tasted. But as much by the Marina and the friendliness of the place.

Mind you they actually have been to Hartlepool and spent a little time there with an open mind. Steve Perryman hasn't unless it was for a brief stopover for a Pools v Spurs game.

Easily impressed then, just been to the almight cod and I have to say the chips should be fined for impersonating cut and fried potatoes, soggy batter on the fish, mmm mmm!

I should have stuck to my guns and gone to the new place over the road, fishface, theirs is far superior, however the battered sausage apparently is better at the cod and she who must be obeyed wanted one after keep fat stpid

But surely if anyone is going to complain it should be the Mayor or Councillors. Because the town has a football club why should they complain on something about the town. How about the owners of a few restaurants on the Marina make a complaint, about it, what's the difference. Why don't you write a letter complaining ?

Probably never been anywhere near the place and mouthing the usual old hackneyed crap we've heard a thousand times before ..... and let's be honest, why do we need a supporters spokesman, I've always found supporters more than capable of expressing themselves.

Above all, Perryman was an arse.
Probably supports Man ure or Chelski and
has little concept of supporting a 'real' football
team.
He came across as a pretencious arse and was
simply looking for an easy target. What a cock smoker

Mark Perryman is a Spurs supporting ex-Communist Party member who turned to football for a living when the Marxism Today project known as Eurocommunism collapsed. He runs the Philosophy Football t-shirt business and got involved with the England stuff because he believes it is possible to have a sort of non-nationalist nationalism. I'm sure he genuinely likes his football but he seems to have positioned himself as a fans' spokesman for political and career reasons. The media love him because he knows how to give them what they want.

Taking offence at things heard second or third hand is the new cool Mr I. Think about the amount of post event rage generated when Brand and Ross wound up Andrew Sachs (A bloke famous for playing a racial stereotype) or when Clarkson suggested that the striking public sector workers should be shot.

I think we should start a Twitter campaign and a facebook group defending Hartlepool but also making sure all England fans know how much better we are than them foreigners.

We should also start a new Hartlepool is alright and it doesn't rain that much anyway political party.

Picture the scene, Pools at home to Spurs in the cup and Mr Perryman turns up, PoK leathers him and several hundred semi-paggered Poolies treat his prostrate form to a shower of 'golden rain.'

That'd show the 'lovely lovely person'.

When she said 'Tottenham' she sounded like Ossie Ardiles on that 1982 or 81 FA Cup Final record....oh how I laughed!!!!

I tried to explain to her but I don't think she got it....but she said 'Tottenham' when I asked....about 23 times that day!!!!

Racist....nah....she laughs when I say 'Socks'!!!! sctatchinghead

Something to do with 'Inner Labia' in Polish!!!! confised

After I've been swilling down and inform her that my 'socks' are soaking she pisses herself!!!!
