I'm sensing a bit of tongue-in-cheek here by Scott. I reckon he knows that we take the rise out of The Carvery and has posted this as a "story" on Uncovered as a joke. Surely??....tell me it IS a joke....??

There is a thread on there that is genius. It is titled "The Apprentice"

Soneone suggets that they split into teams, much like the apprentice, and see which team can raise the most money with results being reported back in aprils meeting. Probably on April 1st.

I'm sure some of these are on drugs!

Like has been said the price is a joke - the going rate for a two course Sunday lunch is probably about half what they are charging with some places even less. The carvery should have been put in room 101 forever.

They are trying their best to keep things going so need a bit of credit for that but I just don't get how or why they are signing new players, first of all the players are shite and secondly they haven't paid the players have under contract in full yet have they...? I would have thought they would have looked to raise as much money as they can to honour what they have to pay this season and then start with a clean slate with realistic wages in bluesq north next season.

The Trust they have also seem to be pissing about with money that was raised by fans to save the club years ago and fukk knows who's running the show at the minute and what he is charging - all a bit messy down the a66...

I think the word in that menu you seriously need to focus on is cream. It has a very small in asterix next to it undetectable to the human eye. On reading the small, small print you'd actually get to the disclaimer "Leek is locally sourced from the West Stands cracked stench pipe, cream from Darlo Pete's testicles"

It's like when Baldrick made 'Coffee' on Blackadder Goes Forth.
