No, it's definitely Lee. Ask Tony Gubba!

Gubba called him Lee Johnrose ... Johnrose retired from the professional game to pursue qualifications in Sports Science

Lenny Johnrose, fame to glory scored the 3rd goal in the win that kept Swansea in the league. They went on to win 4-2, he put them 3-2 up On the last match of the season in 2003., he also scored 2 goals in other games that won Swansea 4 points. So without those goals those who watched Swansea in the premier League today,(on TV or at the Liberty Stadium) may well have seen the club go in the totally opposite direction.

They were the only 3 goals he scored for Swansea.

See, that I don't understand. How the hell can you just "Switch Off" Pools? Members of my Family (not my immediate ones though) have done this. They were Season Ticket holders when we only had 3-400 S/t's. They would be at Hereford Away in 1984 with 16 other Poolies...yet none of them (that's out of 5 people..) now attend. sctatchinghead

We all fall out of love with pools from time to time but you always end up going back after a few games.

I've fallen out of love of going to Pools over the two or so years, I just don't get the same excitement anymore.

I was doing 40+ games a season up until a couple of years back, I'll probably scrape double figures at this rate.

I got sick of going when wilson was here, after the promotion season. We just seemed to go through he motions.

Thats why people like Neale Cooper are worth their weight in gold.

But I am beginning to hate football generally anyway, as its now a non contact sport, and clubs like Darlo go to the wall for about £50k, yet Man City pay one player twice that every week, but ban him.....and want rid. Really, do people agree that thats business....and its just the way it is????????

Thank god for kids football.........probably the last level where its played for enjoyment alone.

exactly. That is why FCUM even exist in the first place. The fans wanted the enjoyment back, and wanted the sense of a real football club back.
Watching / supporting Man Utd can't be like following any other club anyway - where is the sense of achievement and pride in winning every single game against anyone other than the top 4 or 5, every year for 30 years? It must be tedium to have none of the emotional roller coaster that's guaranteed in supporting any other club, save obviously the other teams who are always around them at the top.

To be fair I think a lot of yours is work commitment though? Which is perfectly understandable. There were times in the early 90's when I simply couldn't go and it just about killed me..again, I don't think it would do that to me now. Priorities.

as for falling out of love with Pools, I think it's a falling out of love with football generally.
There's Darlo fans on about picking other teams to watch, but on the whole I think they'll just do something else like Mr Ryan did. If you become disenfranchised with football then that's how you feel. I don't believe it's about any particular club, I believe it's about the game itself

I don't get many weekends off but which means the ones I do get I like to make the most of and going to Pools is so hit and miss that there is no guarantee you'll enjoy it. I've been to games over the last few years where I've been bored stiff and wondered why the frick I've bothered.

The fact we're a mid-table team doesn't help either I guess

But we will all be happy if we can still be mid table at the end of the season and not fighting for our L1 lives.

Or he's fell in love.
Once he's bucked her a few times and done the metro a few times on a saturday he'll realise it just not the same as being on the terraces on a fookking cold saturday afternoon.
I love it
