I have to say though that I 100% support what he's saying.

You had to expect it from him though there was no way he could not mention it, but I also agree with him 100%.

The stewards have to take as much of the blame as anyone, they were useless

Preaching to the converted though isn't he?? Appealing to commons sense and twats like that haven't got any. If they must goad the goalkeeper, which most of us like to do, you can get within about six feet from the terrace.

..er, no they don't. If an old lady gets mugged, do you blame the old lady for being useless at responding..... no! Fact is, they responded slowly, but the blame lies totally with the ones who came onto the pitch .....

Sorry me old mucker but the blame lies 100% at the feet of those who invaded the pitch. The actions of the stewards is an entirely different issue - and it is an issue but they didn't make the decision to get onto the pitch and taunt the goalkeeper. Irrespective of what the courts say, They will get a lengthy ban measured in years from Pools for this judging from what KH says

have to agree with groovy c man - stewards are there to watch the CROWD and not the fookin game.

of course invading pitch these days is damaging to club but a over the years a lot of us have done or tried it when you could get away with iy.

Sorry, not made myself clear there,no,its not the stewards fault that those guys decided to get on the pitch, thats their own doing & they have no cause for complaint when they are fined/banned or whatever.
As far as the club goes, when the FA look at the incident we will be in trouble for not controlling our fans & that part is where the stewards are to blame. If we are charged over this I think the FAs main issue will be with our lack of response.Hodcroft has to get tough with these guys and with the stewards to show the FA that he is dealing with it.
