"That wasn't good enough today, I was really disappointed," he told Pools Player.

"I enjoyed the welcome from the fans but football is all about results and today I was disappointed at the overall performance.

"I didn't enjoy watching that. It's alright having a late flurry at the end but we were passing the ball and just hoping that someone would create something.

"When you're at home and you have a big crowd the players should enjoy that but I thought we lacked pace and looked vulnerable at the back.

"I thought the top man was Luke James and he looked the most likely to create something out of everyone.

"The five goals I have seen us concede in the two games so far have been bad goals and schoolboy errors - they are all preventable, certainly the two today were.

"We were second to everything - we were nearly getting there. But that's not good enough.

"We have to be a lot better than that. They can't keep thinking about how many games we've lost at home, that's all rubbish - they've just got to play better."

Nice and honest from him... Im expecting few changes next week

At least he sees what we see then. Hope he can do something about it though.

This man is spot on, very honest, doesn't say what a typical manager usually says "we were unlucky, we were poor" Atleast he says it as it is. Also nice to see our players shoulder to shoulder before the game kicked of just like old times.

slightly more in this one, its taken him 2 matches and already knows one of the main problems, a lack of pace throughout the team. Lets hope Uncle Ken allows him to do something about it
