I can safely say, no, I am not on that photo.

Frank knows that if he photographs me and publishes I shall charge him appearance money and damages for obscuring my middle regions with the words 'Copyright Frank Reid.'

Photo must have been taken bang on 3pm. Elvis, Smythe, Mayor etc all present and correct, as is PD who showed impressive turn of pace for a tubby chap and did the last half mile on foot quicker than me, Tony and Mr Dunn Jr managed in car. Two minutes later and I'd have been on that shot

It must have been, as Hawklord still clearly has the John Otway book I lent him in his hand!

Well spotted - that John Otway book is the giveaway. In response to one of the later threads - I was at the Colchester game, as was my wife, sister and brother in law - we all helped to swell the figures to that massive total. Wasn't at the Stockport match but remeber being in a sparse attendendance at the Vic v Torquay when it at least felt like a sub 800 crowd.

I was at the Stockport game!!!! :sweet:

And that 'Scunthorpe' Game Mr.Chip....didn't they let the 'Scunny' fans into the Mill House seats but left us Poolies on the terraces in the pissing down rain!!!!

I think I was at that Scunthorpe match. I know I remember a low attended night match in the pouring rain, wondering to myself, long before I had the benefit of my family around me, what the f*ck am I doing here!!

I seem to remember being more interested in the torrent off water flowing off the terraces than the match, and wondering if I was going to die here.
