I've just popped in between lessons expecting SOMETHING to have happened, especially after passing a Mail poster that said POOLS TRANSFER SWOOP , but there's nothing, the Official website has article about Bostons manager, some Pools fan on holiday,something about the new classrooms (a good thing I know but not exactly going to help us win games), a belated ressie's report, ECG's pre-match article and as always a few adverts for text services, corporate hospitality and the bookies (which would make a 1000 times more if they opened proper ones in or around the ground, like most forward thinking clubs).
I know the deadline isn't until Midnight but I can't really see much happening now can you, and even if we do sign someone late on, the mere fact that they've took all day to say yes to our beloved club tells me that they ain't gonna be THAT committed to our cause.
Loan signing don't excite me for the same reason, I'm still looking forward to tomorrows game but I'm moreorless resigned to another long and labouriuos game where we'll either be 'unlucky' AGAIN or we'll maybe sneak a win and leave the Vic thinking we've finally turned the corner.
Who knows eh ! Who cares we'll still be there but I don't think there'll be many of our 'newer' fans there, I'm reckoning on ajust over 3000 if the rain keeps off.
