I think that was the incident that the odious Steve Evans claimed that Nelse handled the ball twice. I can't think of any other and i'm clutching at straws on that one, as non of the players or 'crowd' appealed for a penalty.

Did anyone hear his interview on the way home? What a cock!! He used the very same *insert managers name* can count himslef very, very lucky today line, that he did after our cup replay in 2005. He claimed they had ALL the chances, the only reason they lost was because his. keeper fooked up (cheers, Boss..) He went on to say that he at 5'4" and five stone overweight (the only truth he uttered!!) could have saved it as it was 'floated' and 'not even a good strike!!!'

He didn't mention that Boston couldn't get the ball off us between minutes 45-85 of the match!!!

The worst thing is that reading the biased match reports on Bostons rivals and official sites some people actually still buy this crap from the fat dug out slapping twat!!!

That's simply unbelievable.

I'll let their fans speak on his behalf though, as no doubt hundreds of other Poolies saw yesterday...

Saw the Evans out spray job rolfl

Apparantley the fans in the corner near the tunnel held up a banner saying the same.

I'm sure in that game Evans told his keeper to waste time, With his goal kicks being taken opposite side

and he also lined up with 10 men behind the ball all the time, Why do that at home, I do not know, Glad we broke them down

Fact of the matter is we did enough for a win, nobody got booked or injured or looked like they were breaking too much of a sweat against such small beans as Boston.

What a strange place it was too! Did anyone else notice the road Spain Place leading to Spayne Road? Seems they had the same imaginitive town planners as Blackhall...

The Evans Out spry job was class, There was a banner held up at the final whistle, problem with Evans is he is far to close to the chairman and those behind the scenes to be given the push.

They have been trying to move to an out of town ground for ages and sell off york street for redevelopment - could there be truth in the rumour mill that it would be helpful if the club went down, found itself in financial trouble and the only way to survive would be to sell the ground?

Boston, corruption, surely not?

"nobody got booked "

I don't think that referee had any cards, the 'tackle' on Ritchie that nearly removed the family jewels, was definitely worth a card, as were one or two others.
I can't remember the last game I saw, in which there wasn't a card shown

On Poolsworld, Mark and Mick were amazed that there was no cards coming out, particularly as it seemed Gary Liddle was taking a systematic kicking off Ellender. The remark was 'what has he got to do to earn a booking??'

Greater credit to the boy Liddle for not decking the twat.
